High-speed Distance Protection of High Voltage Transmission Lines
Various faults can be analysed in the case of the high-speed distance protection relay employed for more complex networks. This type of protection permits faults to be isolated in dependence of their distance. Besides preparation of a grading schedule, selectivity can be set and tested in a practical manner.
